Participation

We welcome all comments and contributions to the Starfish project. Please send us a message to let us know if you are using Starfish successfully, or if you have suggestions for improvements, or if you are starting to hate system administration and just need someone to cheer you up.

We are particularly interested in gathering consensus on techniques for platform independence in agent customization modules. Although every operating system uses its own notation and set of abstractions, many system characteristics such as disk space could be expressed in a common manner, if there were only agreement on what form it should take. If you develop a Starfish module which provides a common interface of this kind at your site, we'd like to hear about it!
